We purchased Dog Training Shock Collar with Vibration to break our dogs
"prey instinct" when chasing cars or some cats. These are both
dangerous situations and he seemed so driven he could not even hear us to train
him. The package was received ahead of schedule. Dogwidgets® DW-3 Remote 1
Dog Training Shock Collar with Vibration works amazingly well with the 1
yr old lab-mix we recently adopted. He had zero respect for us and was ready to
go back to the pound.
The vibration level of Dog Training Shock Collar with Vibration seemed to work to get his attention. A couple times he continued to chase and we used level 1 and he squealed and jumped and ran to me. When caught in the act, we simply use the vibrate function to distract and has been effective. Initially when the dog did elude us and jumped, utilized low level shock (#4) to lessen the appeal of the neighbor’s yard then rewarded with praise and attention once led back to our yard.
Now I really like this Dog Training Shock Collar with Vibration, it doesn't seem to be uncomfortable, and it falls asleep quickly but wakes up with the slightest movement which will save the battery and not compromise when it's use. Dogwidgets® DW-3 Remote 1 Dog Training Shock Collar with Vibration fits my puppy well and stays on, although it loosens up after a few times of coming on and off. I found the rubber small dog collar tips to be effective. Recommend you start there before moving to the more aggressive tip styles. Overall, very pleased.
